Character education is an important emphasis at Bayview Heights.  The character education program at Bayview seeks to help students develop positive character traits and to build a school environment where civic responsibility and academic achievement thrive.  We believe that building strong character will enable students to make a difference in the world.

January- This month's character trait is Optimism.  Throughout the month we will be reinforcing the theme of optimism through announcements, classroom activities and school-wide events.
