Getting Ready for High School

 In the afternoon of Tuesday, May 14^th our students in Grades 5-8 will have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful presentation by Métis author David Bouchard. David was made a member of the Order of Canada in 2009 for his contributions as an author and an advocate for literacy and Aboriginal issues. David will share a few of the award-winning books he has written, as well as some of his First Nation and Métis heritage and traditions. He will also play several hand-carved wooden flutes and engage the audience with his energy and enthusiasm for reading and for life.

Bayview is once again involved in the Forest of Reading®!

However, this year, we have decided to expand the program by get-ting our WHOLE school involved!

Durham Student Transportation Services kindly invites all parents/guardians and stakeholders from the Durham District and the Durham Catholic School Boards to participate in consultation meetings regarding proposed policy harmonization for transportation services.  Click Here for More Information.
